Make ‘m Smile is the BIGGEST party celebrating kids with special needs…our VIPs! This annual community festival is the first Saturday of June in Downtown Orlando for kids and adults with all types of special needs and their families! In 2017, Make ‘m Smile hosted 45,000 participants, including 2,500 VIPs, and this year, we expect an even bigger bash as we celebrate 16 years of smiles!
Make ‘m Smile is all about kids and adults with special needs…our VIPs! VIPs are invited to come as our honored guests.
Special needs include any physical, cognitive, medical or hidden disability, chronic or life threatening illness, and those who are medically fragile. Proof of disability OR VIP Membership ID# is required with registration.
Event wristbands are needed for event participation, including entertainment, food, drinks and giveaways. VIPs and their parents and siblings receive FREE wristbands. Additional wristbands can be purchased for extended family members (aunts, uncles, grandparents, cousins, etc.) and friends for a cost of $5 per wristband.
Free event t-shirts will only be given to VIP families who submit proof of disability documentation with their online pre-registration by May 28th. In order to receive free valet parking, you must also register by May 28th (while supplies last). You will receive a parking pass postcard in the mail the week of the event.
VIP registration will open at the beginning of April.
Buddies are individuals, couples, and families who join the party as friends to kids/adults with special needs (VIPs). We encourage you to invite a VIP family to Make ‘m Smile and then accompany them to the event! Don’t know any VIPs? That’s okay! Show up the day of the event and we’ll match you with a VIP family for the Friendship Stroll around Lake Eola!
Event wristbands are required for all participants. Buddy/General Admission wristbands will be available for a donation of $5/person online or at the event.

Our Smile Team Volunteers help set up and run the event from start to finish. Volunteers receive an assigned position and commit to work the entire event (5:30 am – 2:30 pm)! Volunteers must be at least 16 years old and attend a mandatory volunteer training meeting. If you are not able to make this commitment, please volunteer to be a Buddy!

A Smile Maker is any non-profit group, individual, church, organization, or school that provides non-professional entertainment. CLICK HERE for more information.
