Tim and Marie Kuck

Tim and Marie Kuck are Co-Founders of Nathaniel’s Hope, a ministry dedicated to celebrating and assisting kids with special needs (VIP kids) and their families.  Tim and Marie have been married for over 27 years and have 3 children, Brianna (24), Ashley (22) and Nathaniel who at the age of 4½ (in 2001) unexpectedly had a change of address from earth to heaven.  It was after the death of their son, who brought them into the community of special needs, that both Tim and Marie realized this was not the end, but the beginning – that they are stewards of the circumstances surrounding the life and death of their son.  In June of 2002, they responded to the call to birth Nathaniel’s Hope.  Their mission includes sharing hope and encouragement with VIP kids and their families, and educating and equipping the community, especially local churches, on ways to reach out and assist VIP families.

Nathaniel’s Hope has developed many programs to assist VIP families, including a fast growing kids program called Buddy Break. Buddy Break is a free respite program done in partnership with local churches to provide a free “break” for caregivers of kids with special needs.  The hope is to build a national network of 1,000 churches to support VIP families with respite care.  Nathaniel’s Hope has currently trained over 150 churches in 23 states to provide this program. Other programs offered by Nathaniel’s Hope include Caroling for Kids and Nathaniel’s Toy Shop. This Christmas, Nathaniel’s Toy Shop helped over 5,000 VIP kids and siblings get toys for Christmas. Nathaniel’s Hope National VIP Birthday Club currently hosts 12,000 VIP kids from 48 states and 7 countries. On June 4th, Nathaniel’s Hope hosted their 14th Annual Make ‘m Smile festival at Lake Eola in downtown Orlando to honor and celebrate VIP kids, hosting over 50,000…including over 2,500 VIP kids!  For more info, visit

In addition to Nathaniel’s Hope, Tim and Marie founded Teams Commissioned for Christ International (TCCI), a short term mission organization dedicated to equipping and sending short term mission teams into developing countries of the world, primarily Guatemala.  Since 1993, people have had the opportunity to join with TCCI missionaries to partner with indigenous church leaders to help establish churches and provide medical care, children’s outreach, and leadership training.  TCCI is also the producer of the GO Prepared short term missions training series now utilized by over 3,000 mission organizations, colleges/universities, and churches worldwide to equip their short term mission teams for service overseas.

Tim serves as COO and Executive Vice President of Regal Marine, a privately held family business that manufactures a line of pleasure boats ranging 19-53 feet.  Tim has a tremendous passion for ministry in the marketplace and desires to use his platform to share the transforming power of Christ.  He has been instrumental in birthing and hosting “Leading with Vision and Values,” an annual outreach event held at the Miami Boat Show to encourage principle-centered leadership in the marine industry.  Tim serves as President of Nathaniel’s Hope and TCCI, is on the Board of Pine Castle Christian Academy and a Trustee for the Marriage and Family Legacy Foundation.

Marie serves as Executive Director of Nathaniel’s Hope and passionately advocates to and trains “inexperienced churches“ how to practically welcome and include those with disabilities. As an ordained minister, Marie worked in youth ministry for over 10 years serving on church staffs in Chicago, Minneapolis, and Orlando. She has taught in the Department of Communications at North Central University (formerly North Central Bible College) and co-hosted “Today’s Family” a local Christian television talk show in Orlando.  She also serves on the Board of Directors for Pine Castle Christian Academy. Marie considers herself to be a “Mom on a Mission.

Tim and Marie reside in Orlando, Florida.
