Caroling for Kids

Share the Hope and Joy of Christmas with VIP Kids on Christmas Day

Since Christmas Day in 1998, we have been committed to sharing hope and encouragement with kids, families, and caregivers at children's hospitals and with homebound VIP families on Christmas Day through caroling and bearing goodies and gifts.

Currently we are planning on having caroling locations in:

  • Central Florida (including Volusia County)
  • If you would like to have Caroling for Kids in your area, please contact us at 407-857-8224.

Here are ways that you can be involved this Christmas:

    Before Christmas we need:

  • Individual prepackaged cookies, candies, crackers, chips, pretzels... any snack items!
  • Store-bought, packaged Christmas cookies (to provide homemade, please call our office for arrangements)
  • Large red and white candy canes
  • New small beanie babies
  • Volunteers to help prepare the goodies for the big day
  • Financial donations

The deadline for dropping off these goodies was December 19.

    On Christmas Day we need:

  • Carolers that will sing :) and join us Christmas afternoon
  • Carolers that will visit homebound VIP kids and their families as part of a “Caroling Caravan.” (This may be the perfect way to get your family involved, especially if you have smaller children that would not be able to fully participate in the caroling at the hospitals.)
  • Seasoned musicians to lead the team on guitar, keyboard, etc.

  • We will have an early afternoon and late afternoon option.

Space is limited. Registration is now CLOSED. (The registration deadline was December 16.)

Here’s what people are saying about Caroling for Kids:

“I wanted to tell you how touched I was that you came to the hospital on Christmas Day. My son had already been in the hospital for a week and was feeling sad to still be there on Christmas. You brought him a beanie bear and a candy cane and you made him very happy. I was overwhelmed. Thanks for what you did for my son and me. I will forever be grateful.” – Lynn, parent

“It was such a blessing for my daughter and me to share Christmas with the children at the hospital. I was very touched and can’t wait to serve on Christmas Day next year.” – Julie, participant

“Thank you so much for visiting us on Christmas Day. We loved the caroling and appreciated your visit.” – Arnold Palmer Hospital Labor and Delivery Staff
