What is now the Greater Orlando Food Outreach began to offer a long-term food subsidy program directly to families in the community just days before the tragedy of September 11th. Thousands of families have joined the Greater Orlando Food Outreach, a program that provides them with access to high quality foods for a small contribution per item.

In 2006, as part of our Healthy Families Initiative, staple foods such as eggs, bread, produce, and other nutritional items became available at no cost to all members.
