Ballet South’s Nutcracker

December in Orlando, FL

We owe a huge thank you to Ballet South for their generosity! They donated over 400 tickets to Nathaniel's Hope for VIP families to attend their charity performances of “The Nutcracker.” What a blessing!

Orlando Guardians -vs- Tampa Bay Sentinels

March 29 at Cypress Creek High School in Orlando, FL

The Orlando Guardians (a football team made up of local Firefighters, Police, and Correction Officers) invited VIP families to be their special guest for their first home football game of the season! At the end of the game, there was time to meet the players on the field and play ball! All of this was offered for free to all VIPs and their immediate families.

  • Dancers performing ballet, point, modern, and jazz numbers
  • Time to meet the dancers at the end of the performance

Ballet South’s Nutcracker

November in Orlando, FL

We owe a huge thank you to Ballet South for their generosity! They donated 100 tickets to Nathaniel's Hope for families to attend their recent charity performances of “The Nutcracker.” We received an overwhelming response from VIP families that wanted to attend the performances, and within 8 hours we had filled those 100 tickets and started a wait list. When Ballet South heard about this, they continued to call us as they found out other organizations were not going to be able to use all of their allotted tickets. By the day of their final charity performance, they had offered us enough tickets to contact all of the people on our waitlist – making the waitlist go from 250+ people to zero! What a blessing!

The Luis Palau Tampa Bay Festival

Saturday and Sunday March 3 & 4 on the grounds of the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, FL

Thousands of people came together to enjoy 2 days of FREE family entertainment featuring great music, children’s activities, an incredible sports zone, and more!

To make this event more accessible for VIP families, Nathaniel’s Hope and St. James United Methodist Church hosted a special needs respite care tent where VIP families could get assistance with some of their special needs. There were changing facilities available, electrical outlets, water, chairs and tables, etc. and our Buddies were there to give a hand. This was a great place to stop and pull away from the noise and activity.
