Keep 'm Smiling

These types of events are designed to keep you smiling all year long! They are invitations that we receive from other companies and organizations and pass along to you, and we’re so grateful to receive these invitations. Here's what's coming up!

BALLET SOUTH’S SPRING PERFORMANCE

Event Description: The performance will feature:

• Dancers performing excerpts from the classical ballet, Paquita, as well as modern and jazz numbers
• At least one brief intermission (there will be NO refreshments at intermission and no food is allowed in the theatre)
• Time to meet the dancers at the end of the performance

Where: Trinity Prep, 5700 Trinity Prep Lane, Winter Park, FL 32792

When: Thursday, March 11, 2010 @ 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. (Arrive by 5:45 p.m. to get settled in the theater since there are no assigned seats unless your child needs to remain in his/her wheelchair/stroller)

Cost: FREE

Registration Deadline: Wednesday, March 10 – Registration is now closed.

Wheelchair Accessibility: Because of the large number of children with special needs that are being invited to this event by Ballet South, we have been given specific instructions so that we can accommodate as many needs as possible.

-Seating: There are seats available for your child and your family if your child needs to remain in their wheelchair/stroller OR your child can transfer out of their wheelchair/stroller into a seat or lap. Every effort will be made to keep families together; however, it may be necessary to have one adult sit in the handicap section and the rest of the family sit in general seating.

ORLANDO GUARDIANS FOOTBALL GAME

Orlando Guardians -vs- Chicago Enforcers

When: Saturday, March 13 at 1 p.m. NOTE: This is a time change that was originally posted.

Where: West Orange High School, 1625 South Beulah Road, Winter Garden, FL 34787

Cost: FREE for all VIPs and their families! Identify yourself by wearing a Make ’m Smile, Buddy Break, or other Nathaniel’s Hope t-shirt or tell them that you’re a VIP family. (Other guests: $5.00 per person, pay at the door) No pre-registration is necessary.

The Orlando Guardians invite you to be a special guest to their football game! They are a member of the National Public Safety Football League which consists of Law Enforcement and Firefighter teams from across the country. The NPSFL teams play full-contact football and follow NCAA rules.

Come cheer on our public safety heroes! Public Safety Vehicles will be on display. At the end of the game, meet the players on the field and play ball!
